Been going here for over two and half years, never had any problems with cut and color with Steph. After a recent interaction with owner, I would definitely stay clear. Last 3 visits she has butted into my consultation with hairdresser, advising them on what to do on my hair and when I came back in for it to be corrected, she made a smart comment which made me think, well why didn't you tell me that when you were trying to take over the original consult. Absolutely no customer service skills. They will correct my hair but no personal responsibility was taken, no way to run a business where customer service is paramount.Service: Hair coloring
I had a bad cut and colour here recently. I went back, and appreciate that I got the haircut fixed and the colour refunded, but it felt like my interactions with the owner were harder than they needed to be. If a clients hair is cut badly and the colours they asked for is not what they got, please don’t argue or minimize it. I don’t need you to explain to me why it turned out the way it did. I just need you to understand that it’s not what I asked for. There are good stylists here, but management needs to change their approach. I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time. A refund for the colour should have been the first thing offered to try and remedy this. I shouldn’t have to explain six times. I feel you need to work on your customer service skills and listening comprehension more. Instead of skirting around the issue, trying to absolve your salon of any wrong doing.
I have been going here for my haircut for nearly three years now. The team are friendly and very personable. They have good deals from time to time. Melissa understands my needs and without too much chitchat gets on with the job! Awesome.
The place looks tacky. Strange sense of style, very low end obviously trying to be something it is not. Reception is horrid. When you walk in you are being stared at by the lady at the desk and whoever else is there at the time, she makes very off putting jokes which she clearly thinks are hilarious and is very happy to tell you all about her personal life even if you havent asked. it is freezing cold in the salon, service is great from the hairdressers themselves but that is over run by the terrible environment and feeling of being watched and listened to by receptionist the entire time Who will also pipe up in the middle of your conversation with your stylist. I personally did not appreciate this as it made me realize she actually was listening to my conversation! I certainly won't be back because I was extremely uncomfortable
I had a haircut with Sophia, she was amazing, she knew exactly what I wanted! I left the salon very happy with the results and will definitely come back for another haircut with Sophia.
Great cut for my daughter. She was very hesitant as had a bad experience elsewhere but Steph did an awesome job!
Sophear has been looking after my hair for around 15yrs She very professional, actually listens to what ur wanting and gives good advise. I've never left feeling dissatisfied :-
First visit yesterday.... certainly wont be the last! Went into Tuesdays Child feeling drab and came out feeling blonde and fab :D Wonderful young stylist who never left me feeling she couldn't win the battle with hair that hates to go blonde. Highly recommended to all from someone who is not always the easiest to please :D
Told me they'd be able to give me what I wanted, and left my hair looking worse than when I had walked in. Hair looked awful and they wouldn't refund me not even partially, told me that the only option was if I paid more money to get it fixed. Will not be returning, or recommending to anyone.
