Have been phoning for the last 2 weeks to see a Doctor advising I need a medical completed for both WINZ and my solicitor, booked this morning for Friday 19/07, showed up to be told its a nurse only booking, it is not an appointment to see a Doctor, WTH, reception never said that...even took a day off work...wasted my time, the next available appointment with a Doctor is 29th August...hell, if I could give NO STARS I would
After 12yrs of being a patient, having not needed a doctor for 3 yrs, rang today to make an appointment to find out I've been un- enrolled!!! What?!!!nTakes a month to get new enrollment so casual appointment only option at $70. So for keeping healthy one is punished. Extortion! Won't be back!
I have had one too many negative experiences here. From the unprofessional and heartless receptionists 2 in particular to poor communication and being ripped off. So issues with the administration not the treatment.nnI have moved to another clinic and I can see how unfairly I was treated when I do a comparison.nnDo yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
Just wanted to share that my partner came in last week to see the fasting nurse. He was blown away by how kind, caring and empathetic she was to his situation. He was so reluctant to attend after being referred by his doctor there but said he was met with one of the kindest most non-judgemental nurses and his experience was fantastic. He could even explain the fasting to me after his consult, said she really spent the time to make sure he understood and he was so appreciative. Thank you to the Tuakau team who can really inspire an otherwise reluctant participant in my partner!
I am not happy with booking appointments, my daughter has always had a problem with getting an appointment for her babies. It's either try again tomorrow morning at 8 or take to urgent care. I tried booking an appointment for granddaughter this morning and can't get one until the 29th may that's over a week away and she is sick now. We need better from our health services especially during the winter months.
