I had my New Patient appointment today at 1.30 with Nurse Sara and then an appointment straight after at 2 with Dr Julia. What a beautiful experience! Sara was so attentive and thorough! I actually had a few different things addressed by her and got them sorted in that half hour! Then my appointment with Julia was amazing! I can see why she’s booked out so much! We discussed two particular concerns and came to a great decision on them, making me feel so at ease and calm! I left feeling so happy! No complaints here, and I’m thankful I’ve found a nice Doctor to go to if needed! Thanks again!
I moved from Australia to New Zealand in August last year and have been searching for a medical practice that offers genuinely caring service. I was previously registered in Pokeno but had a poor experience there, so I transferred to Tuakau Health.nnAlthough I haven’t seen a doctor yet, I had my new patient consultation with Nurse Sara today and wanted to specifically mention her. She was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, and that level of care is becoming harder to find these days.nnThank you to Nurse Sara for making my first experience so positive, I’m looking forward to seeing the doctor next month.
I have been enrolled here for many years and rarely needed to see a doctor, which is really lucky because you can't get an appointment anyway. Receptionists are rude and dismissive. I understand how much pressure Healthcare is under i work in Healthcare myself The service is poor at best. Just had one to many negative experiences. Always made to feel like it's a hassle to help me.
Thank you, nurse Annemieke, for going above and beyond — not just today, but over the years — to help my daughter feel comfortable enough to get through her vaccinations. You have every trick in the book! I was so proud of how brave she was today, thanks to your patience and support.
I had a very poor experience trying to get hold of reception. It took three attempts just to get through . On the first call, someone answered but was speaking inappropriately in the background and clearly did not realise I could hear them . Second call I was hung up on . When I finally got through on the third attempt the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. I was told there were no appointments available until April. She said she would see if she can get me in earlier but couldn’t tell me when or how I would be notified . No thankyou , apologies which felt dismissive. I understand reception staff are busy and we should be kind , but it’s difficult when customers are treated rudely and without basic professionalism
