To cut the whole story short, Someone recommended that I send my truck to them after I drove to Palmerston north and it lost some power. I drove the truck to the workshop and after mucking around, I have to leave the truck and travelled back to my station but specifically requested to call me when they find what the problem was and cost to pix it. About a week later, the so called technician and said he found what the problem was and it will cost $25,000 to $30,000 plus gst to fix. I travelled 3 hours to see things for myself. As at that time he said the time they had spent was $1,100 plus gst. I requested for what he has done and found out that he had charged for parts that were not used in any way. I pointed those out and he took them off and the bill came to $900.00 plus gst. The only thing that was taken off was the manifold NOT even turbo was off I requested that they put the vehicle back together so that I can drive it back to somewhere else. I expected that it cost $900.00 to take things apart and inspected that it would cost less that that to put them back together but had a shock of my life when they called me and said my bill was now $3500 plus gst. I asked how it would cost almost 4x the original amount to put parts back. He dropped the price to $2700+gst. I still taught it was outrageous, the next thing I hard was they were planning to sell my truck. I told the lady that if my truck got sold without my knowledge, that I was not going to take it sitting down. in the end, when the new manager came into the picture. they reduced the bill to about $2750 including gst and I paid. Meanwhile, they receipt they gave to me, they claimed they fixed this and that but they told me verbally that they fixed nothing, this is another lie.nnI have taken the truck to somewhere else and it has been fixed within one week with less than $3000. It is either they totally misdiagnosed what the problem was or someone is not genuine and playing dirty and was going to Charge $30,000 to fix it.nnI do not wish on anyone the same experience
Well so far I have no complaints. They have stood by there work and sorted any issues. So I would have no issues in recommending them.
Friendly and helpful staff. Fast service and delivery. If they don't have the part in stock, the warehouse is close by and sometimes they get the part from there pretty quick.
