What an amazing venue! We had a perfect wedding day and the guests are still talking about how amazing this venue was. We opted for the garden menu which was excellent value and delicious! You are able to design your day with the team from timings to table plans to decor etc and the team were fantastic right from the first contact. I’m shocked that more people don’t know about this place! They should! It had to be the only choice for us and on a much better budget than a few others we looked in to. We will never forget the day and neither will our families. Highly recommend!
Where to start with the team at Cripps & Co and Thorpe Garden. My wife and I were caught up with various delays due to the pandemic. We could not have been looked after by a more supportive team. Tom in particular bent over backwards to ensure we were able to easily re-book to a date in the future that fitted what we wanted in terms of a summer weekend. We were reassured at all points and everything was taken care of in such a helpful fashion. Communication with the team was always effortless over the website and we always received prompt, detailed replies to our many, many requests and queries. Thank you! Now to the venue and the day itself. My wife visited Thorpe Garden while I was away and immediately fell in love with the walled garden, the wonderful yurt and beautiful, open space. I visited a short while later and had the same thoughts. For two years we dreamt of a lovely summery day, our guests walking around the garden and having a great time. The team delivered this magnificently. Perhaps the only advantage of having the wedding delayed was that the garden had time to mature and become even more spectacular than when we first visited. In the run up to the day, Tom and his team including Charlie were impressively organised ensuring that all our requests were covered. Nothing was ever too much trouble including late requests for additional drinks at our reception and the late addition of guests. We attended a tasting night and were always excited to get to try our food choices two years later. The food on the day was exquisite with the wide of array of splendid canapés all being perfect. Our main meal was superb as were pizzas to finish the evening off. Our guests were never left wanting for anything at all. We loved Thorpe Garden, such a beautiful setting. The walled garden was utterly lush and we felt a great privilege being able to get married in the lovely outdoor area. Despite a little bit of the typical summer showers, the yurt and pavilion areas provided plenty of cover after which our guests could once again enjoy the lawns and other green spaces. The service we received both before and during our wedding was nothing short of exceptional. We had face to face meetings several times over the years at the venue and were always met with a smile and a cup of coffee. Tom and Charlie have displayed professionalism and a true love for their work. Everything in terms of decorations and the set up during the day was handled with minimal fuss, it was clear that the team and the staff were experienced and highly capable. The day ran smoothly and perfectly to time and our evening wedding manager Kara continued to look after us wonderfully, dropping everything to get my wife a pizza. Our guests have been hugely complimentary of the venue, service, food and staff. We're almost gutted that we can't return to do it all again despite the undoubted stress of organising a wedding. We will treasure our memories of Thorpe Garden and once again can't thank the team, especially Tom, for everything they have done for us over the last two years. Thank you for the most perfect day.
What a place ! After difficult couple of years we decided to have a summer party for our staff ! Although Thorple Garden is a wedding venue they through us an amazing party ! The venue is absolutely breath taking .Amazing garden very nicely build yurt and building .Charlie and Tom looked after us so well .We have done some garden games .Music system was amazing .Food service was first class .We will be back for our VU Fest nest year .
Beautiful wedding venue! Very out of the way and very private location, could have had more people on the bar serving drinks but just lush
Was absolutely beautiful venue attended a wedding, there were three yurts all lit up with fairy lights , the two smaller yurts housed a bar and welcome area the large yurt seating and dance floor with dj . Staff were so helpful and friendly. The grounds are fragrant and well kept and in the evening all lit up , definitely recommend. Pizzas were divine and freshly made wow .
My favourite little sun trap wedding venue, I think it has it's own climate!
We had our wedding at Thorpe Garden in September this year and WOW - we 100% made the right venue choice. We’ve had so many compliments from our guests and some of them are even considering it for their own weddings! First of all the venue itself is stunning, lots of photo opportunities and plenty of beautiful indoor and outdoor space. The food was perfect, pizzas in the evening were a huge hit! All of their communication was spot on, we had to move our original date due to my sister not being able to fly over from Australia Covid - I was so worried we wouldn’t be able to but it wasn’t any trouble and the team were really understanding. We were allowed to visit the venue multiple times to make sure we were happy with everything we’d planned. Charlie & the team were fabulous on the day, everything went exactly how we’d planned and they made running a wedding day seem so effortless - although I’m sure it’s much harder than it looked! Highly recommend doing a taster evening, you get SO much for your money and it’s really helpful to make menu decisions! Thank you Thorpe Garden for a fabulous day!
My wedding day was amazing, I couldn’t fault it at all and that’s because of the staff at Thorpe Garden. They really looked after us throughout our wedding planning, any questions or concerns we had they were more than happy to help us. Our day ran so smooth because of how they looked after us and made sure everything was done exactly how we wanted. Cara did a fantastic job being the venue coordinator for our special day-big shoutout to you and Lee for giving us a stress free day. I can’t recommend this venue enough, our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. Oh also the food was amazing!!! I really could go on and on but thank you fantastic job you guys.
