Trig Hill Base Camp is situated high on a forested ridge on the cross-island walkway between Whakanewha Regional Park and the Onetangi Forest & Bird Reserve.

This 2 double bedroom holiday home is ideal for hikers, cyclists, bird watchers, star gazers and those who want to explore the glorious scenery that Waiheke Island has to offer. The studio gallery of Kim Wesney is also located on the property, award winning Vineyards and beautiful Onetangi beach are all a short car ride down the hill.

Kim also enthusiastically offers evening astronomy tours and viewing evenings. Bring a sense of wonder, imagination and a warm jacket! In 2018 we are very excited about getting more involved with DarkSkyNZ with events, education, data gathering around preserving our beautiful dark skies for generations to come.
