Nice easy walk, can be taken up the hill by small car / golf cart if walking up a hill is hard. Only need to go up steps to go up highest tower so really is a good option if walking is hard for you. Nice view once there. Did not see any birds the day we were there. But well worth the visit. Food at cafe nice and well priced.
Stunning views of an ancient forest, I love how we can see all the rimu in an easy to get to location. The cafe facilities are great, friendly staff, good food. Make sure you bring a good camera for all the great views of the lake, mountains and forest.
What a hidden gem!!! Loved the lookouts, especially the one which is 47m high. Beautiful views. Overall an awesome setup. The whole walk takes around 45 minutes
Nice coffee. Double shot standard. Yummy chocolate brownie. Friendly staff. Also it's a gift shop in case you want to spend some money on NZ gifts. Recommended!
Despite what some people have reported, my wife & I felt that it was well worth the $ charge. We believe that the easy walk and what you see is 'world class'. The cafe was excellent and the staff were all great.
Lovely day and a lovely 3 generations outing. Something for everyone, and the bonus of a free ride to the start of the treetops experience The driver made the ride especially fun.
Great walk above the trees. Highly recommend hehehe. Awesome views and info.
Great walk but a bit scary for me as not too happy with heights. But would definitely recommend
