As an avid runner, having developed Sciatica, and pain in her achilles while camping and tramping throughout Europe in 2014, Nicole realised she needed to take a break from her active running life. She joined a hot yoga studio in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada where she was born, and from here her yoga journey began.
Although, Nicole had practised yoga (purely for physical reasons) prior to joining a yoga studio, this time was different. Slowly, Nicole began to notice and realise the benefits her yoga practice was having in her daily life both on and off her mat.
Her practice deepened further while battling depression in 2016, where she often contemplated suicidal thoughts. It was her faith and yoga practice that helped her during these dark times, as well as, seeking professional help and practising self care.
Today Nicole's daily yoga practice consists of pranayama (breathing techniques), asanas (yoga poses), and meditation-she also practices yoga nidra.
Nicole is a very passionate yoga student, and as a yoga teacher she hopes to share this passion with her students.
