Showing its age but the restaurant and bar are good. Rooms are a good size but the decor is dated. Beds are comfortable. On site secure parking is available but limited. First in first served. Central city location.
Decent hotel. The room was a little tired but definitely fine. The breakfast was good though and the staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. We arrived very late our first night and they were gracious and accommodating.
Very old place ... Hotel need to put some money on interiors and new new designs. Seems very old places. Carpet seems old fashioned.
My first time in Palmerston North and it will be memorable with a great stay at Distinction Hotel. Comfy room with a good view of beautiful garden, ample AC outlets for charging and the like. Love the clean toilet and the bath tub. Parking was not an issue and the restaurant staff has a good sense of humour aside from good food.

Waited an hour for a steak tonight asked for medium rare, it came out medium to well. Just take it off the grill 50 minutes earlier
