My husband and I had an enjoyable experience eating at this restaurant. The food was superb, the wine recommendation was on point and the place has an amazing atmosphere. It was a pleasure dining here. Highly recommend the Lasagna, the spinach and ricotta pasta with sage butter sauce and the desserts. Delicious.
Very genuine Italian restaurant. Ordered arancini balls and garlic sourdough bread very very tasty. Portion size was three pieces each. Mains was spinach ravioli and chicken fettuccine. Desert was a chocolate tart. Restaurants with few but select mains do a good job with the taste I guess. Good service and very tidy. Parking available outside free after six on weekdays.
Very hard to fault. Started with Arinchini balls, then mains my wife had raviolli and i had seafood fettecene, stunning flavours on seafood dish that lasted well after eating it. Had to have desert, i went Tirimasu, sensational, wife had lemon tart, loved it. Waitress was awesome, great experience and well priced for what we received.
This place is fabulous! As a party of 6 we shared the garlic bread sourdough that butter was incredible, the arancini balls, the bruchetta and the calamari- all excellent! I had the sage butter ravioli which was rich but delicious! The others in our party raved about the lamb rack, the fish and the lasagna. The gnocchi was also good apparently, but also very rich. Desserts were all excellent, in particular the lemoncello tart & the homemade lemoncello liqueur was incredible! Loved the sign on the bathroom door too . Staff were friendly and attentive, no complaints from me! Would return next time I'm in Napier.
Good italian food in town... very delicious, friendly owner and give good recommendation when we ask for a suggestion... the layout and decoration of the restaurant is unique

Great italian food. Good experience with a good personal touch. Enjoyed it!
Great food and service. However running the old wine through us in opened bottles after first day back since closure was very average. We were in such a famous wine area and it was like vinegar it was that old. The owner said the best steak in town and he wasn’t wrong. It was very good. Why don’t restaurants like this have quality control on their open bottles? Simply write the date it was opened on the bottle and pour it down the sink day 3.
