One of those must do trips. So relaxing with amazing views throughout. You travel so close to the shore and see seals bathing
Great trip,do it if you haven't.
It was a great trip. I did it from Greymouth to Chch. If we hadn't left half an hour late, we would have got the scenery we were promised over the viaducts. There wasnt much to see past Arthur's Pass.
A brilliant journey, lovely staff who looked after our every need, comfortable and well appointed carriages, informative commentary, great experience.
Was awesome in the autumn, I will be back to do it in the winter can only imagine how beautiful that will be
The train is neat and clean, friendly service. Unfortunately we had to turn back to Christchurch at Arthur's Pass due to bad weather on the West Coast. The refund process has been professionally handled and I've received an email to confirm this before even arriving back in Christchurch.
A world class train trip from coast to coast. Food is pricey and not really a great selection but the scenery is too die for. On of New Zealand’s best train trips.
