This park is the home ground of the Tasman Mako and visiting is easy. There's plenty of nearby parking and plenty of toilets. Most seats are in the East stand and they are uncovered. Easy ground to get in and out of quickly.
Went today to watch the Taranaki ladies play Tasman.Nail biting finish.Great park to watch a game.Open sunny stands awesome when the shade sets on the west side.Great commentary free admission and great crowd of spectators. We are so lucky to have this park
We went to the matiriki show great grounds.nUnfortunately we had our chairs stolen. It would have been great if there were more lights around.
Seats on western stand oxidised lefting white deposits on seat and back of clothing areas of moss in between rows of seats on walkway. Overall maintence not carried out
Went to the Tasman Makos final game. They only had 1 bug screen and from the east stand it was not very visible, plus there was only 1 area selling food. There is an embankment area that could easily house another big screen and more food outlets. Apart from that the atmosphere was great, and it was a good win for the local team.
