Our 'go to' place to stay if one or both of us is going to Welly from the Wairarapa. Directly opposite Trentham station. Good restaurant next door. Peaceful and secure with comfortable well maintained rooms. Laundry facilities. Helpful friendly staff. Highly recommended
We have stayed here twice over the last year. The two bedroom units are amazing. Queen and a single up stairs and a queen downstairs. Three TVs and everything else you could want. The rooms are immaculate and well very well looked after. The laundry is cheap and convenient and the train station, pub and bottle store right next door make it very well placed!nnThe staff are super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Totara Lodge!
Bex, Charlie and Robyn are amazing hosts. Their team are amazing! Clean, tidy and well maintained rooms and site. Like a home away from home when on the road. Quiet location, close to train station and simply user-friendly
What an outstanding place to stay. We have arrived from Whakatāne, to find a clean,well resourced, comfortable unit, perfect for us. Even room inside for the bikes. Stoked with this place, and immediately across the road from the train station.
Currently staying 2 nights, close to bars and restaurants, so if your flying down, it's perfect to hop on the train in to Wellington if you wish, ubering to upper hutt very cheap also. Tidy little rooms with ensuite, paid online, $324 for 2 nights, room service available, lovely staff. Enjoying our stay so far .
