I used Campbell’s services twice now, very satisfied with his professionalism, efficient, generous with his time too. Firstly he is reachable and kind, he will try to squeeze you in to help out if you need an urgent report although he is fully booked. Secondly, His report is very detailed, clear and professional, he explains very well on the phone if you have difficulty to understand construction field. He will give you genuine advises. His fees are very competitive with such a service. I’m highly recommending Campbell Sutherland if you are lucky in Wellington / Kapiti region.
I would highly recommend Campbell!! He went above and beyond when we hired him to complete a building report for a house we wanted to purchase. Campbell took the time to talk through the report and explained everything in detail, he is pragmatic, patient and knowledgeable. Well worth every cent!

Campbell undertook an inspection on a bach which we had a conditional offer on in short notice. The report was comprehensive and followed up by phone call to go through things. Importantly, Campbell picked up a significant issue with the roof which we the used to re-negotiate our offer. Excellent report and service. I would use again.
Campbell was so thorough and helpful and went beyond to explain more detail as part of our pre sale inspections. He was reassuring and very efficient in terms to sending us the report within a short time frame which we valued. We ended up purchasing a much better property based on Campbell's inspections which was important for our family.
Campbell did a building inspection on a home in Paraparaumu we were looking to purchase and since have. Campbell's report was very very detailed, 44 pages. We were very impressed. He did find a moisture issue in the ensuite shower wall; and during the remediation by the owner Campbell attended and conferred with the plumber, builder, and tiler on the best course of action. Campbell was brilliant at doing a full building inspection and meth test, within our 10 day clause conditions. He was incredibly thorough, so much so, that the Real Estate Agent commented on his thoroughness and professional attitude. After a very comprehensive report and images, he then had time to chat to me over the phone and go through his inspection and findings. He was also on hand later when I needed some advice and further clarification. He was incredibly professional, efficient and thorough, and I would highly recommend. Campbell is an excellent communicator. He provided a useful report and telephone discussion both before and after the inspection. The discussion prior to the report convinced us that he would be the right person for us and Campbell spent easily 45 min or more in a useful ohone discussion once he had sent the report. I 100% recommend Campbell. He was a pleasure to deal with - polite, efficient, and reliable. The pre-purchase inspection was completed in the morning and I received the comprehensive report later that day. Campbell has extensive building, roofing and property experience, talked me through the report's findings and answered my many questions.
