We are a major contributor to the community’s financial well-being, managing assets of over $300 million and employing over 200 staff.
By paying salaries and wages and buying goods and services from local businesses, the company pumps nearly $10 million into the local economy each year.
In addition, we pay out more than $5 million each year to local electricity consumers through a Lines Charge Discount or a dividend.
This all means that we create up to $35 million each year in community funding – a solid base from which the local economy can grow.
