We did white water rafting at the end of June and had an amazing time. The lady that greeted us sorry we forgot your name!, Sam and Sarah were all so welcoming and friendly. Sam was also very informative during our tour and we learnt lots about the local area. We had some concerns about being cold out on the water but the team provided all the gear we needed to stay warm even after I made a splash in the river. The tour is a perfect length and not too strenuous on the body. Lots of beautiful scenery to see on your way down the river, very magical when it was raining. The warm drink during the tour and the soup at the end was a great touch. We would highly recommend this tour. Thank you for the great experience.
A great afternoon spent with Fletcher on the river rafting trip today. The river was high end Level 2 as the water level was increased this weekend which added to the fun. Fabulous weather and a very professional set-up and team made this one of our highlights on our NZ road trip. Looking forward to seeing the professional photos and Go Pro video.Thank you team!
WOW. SO MUCH FUN! Staff was AWESOME. Everyone was so helpful and really treated us like family. It's family run and it really shows. Sam our guide was FANTASTIC. My wife was really worried about the cold since we were rafting in the winter, but they provided all the gear she needed. No issues what so ever, just a great time on the river. Kids also had a blast. Thank you guys for such great memories in New Zealand!
We had a great time! The staff were warm and friendly, booking process was a breeze; we didn't need to prepay or put in a deposit. Stefan was a great guide; it was the first time most of our group had been whitewater rafting and he guided us through the entire thing. We signed up for the Blue Duck Experience and it was amazing; we learnt a lot about conservation efforts and got to see the ducks close up.
What an amazing afternoon we had with Garth and the team! The rapids are awesome and Garth kindly shared so much knowledge with us about the river, as well as its flora and fauna. I was anxious about going in winter I run very, very cold, but honestly they gave us so many layers 2 fleeces under a very thick wetsuit that I actually thought was a dry suit, then wet socks under booties, a splash jacket, thick gloves and a beanie was offered for under the helmet. I was toasty the entire time, so they really do look after you. Plus the midway hot drink and post raft soup were fantastic touches. We also loved meeting the pets. Thank you so much, a really wonderful afternoon out!
