Wonderful place, kind staff. We did the Tama Lakes walk. First part of the walk was great then we hit some serious wind and hail. Still very fun.
Awesome scenery and lovely visitor center with toilets handy nearby pretty clean considering and helpful staff at the center. We asked for recommendations on which walks to do and they were very helpful. Did I mention awesome scenery? Wow.
Stunning natural beauty. The Skywaka gondola was excellent. The hiking was iconic.
The staff are very helpful! I love how informative they are, you can walk through the centre and learn about the history of previous eruptions, what to do when an eruption happens. There was such a cool 3D model of the park which makes it feel so real and up close. They also have cute gifts.
Staff at information center is really helpful, advised us really well for snow and weather conditions. I recommend to stop there and check before going to ski field or up the mount.n4×4 and 2 wheel drive with chains are recommend when snow.
