Efficient service with the shuttle picking us up from the nearby DOC campsite.l and dropping us back off. Slightly late picking us up and departing but to very little consequence. It was $120 for two of us which feels a bit costly. However, I appreciate the need to manage the amount of cars and people going to the start of the walk. The bus itself seemed very old and worn but got us there and back nonetheless. The driver who picked us up was great, he was really friendly .
Avoid this company at all cost. We werent able to get on time to our pick up location and they wanted to charge us 90$ extra for extra ride. We declined and went for hitchhike. I asked for a refund for not using a whole shuttle and they were rude to me and after 2 emails stopped communicating. Iam sure you can find better and more honest company for your ride to Tongariro.
Great shuttle service, easy to book and use!
We chose the 5:45 am shuttle. We stood in the cold waiting for the shuttle to arrive for 15 min since it arrived at 6am. Also the instructions from the email where exactly the shuttle will arrive were not precise. The first shuttle back is at 1:30pm and lots of people were already finished with the hike since 12pm. Very unfortunate waiting for over 1,5 hours for the first shuttle to arrive and watching other people getting on their shuttle earlier. Would not book with them again.
Showed up 7 minutes late to the pickup location and didn’t stay for longer than 20 seconds, drove into the drive way and right out so everyone missed the shuttle. Ignored all phone comms on the other end so no one could call to figure out what to do next. Avoid if you can
