We stayed one night for next day ferry. It’s awesome room .nWe choose the family room for 3 people. Nice clean and quiet place to sleep.nThey provided free yummy scones and hot drinks for breakfast .The owners are kind and friendly
Awesome service. After our ferry got cancelled late in the evening, the owners of Tombstone went above and beyond to ensure we had a place to stay for the night, for which we were extremely grateful; special thanks to Nikki in particular. We had a very comfortable night for a great price, and as a bonus, got a great scone in the morning as part of Tombstone's breakfast. I will definitely stay at Tombstone again in the future, and would recommend it to anyone staying in Picton.
This is a good quality Backpackers with nice rooms. Very close to the Picton Ferry terminal. We have stayed twice now after getting the late ferry from Wellington arriving at midnight. Late check in is easy.
This is a comfortable, quiet, and slightly quirky place. It's a few minutes walk from the middle of Picton, so it's convenient for the ferries or the train.nIt has a few features you wouldn't expect, like a hot tub, bicycles to borrow, and scones with the free/included breakfast.
Probably the best hostel I’ve stayed in in NZ. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are super clean as well as the bathrooms there are a lot of details which just make backpacking easier. The hotpot with views over the harbor is also a highlight. And all the important things ferry, downtown, supermarket,… are in max. 10 minutes walking distance. And the also have a free parking lot:
