Tohorā Coffee Roasters home port is in the small sea side village of Russell in the Bay of Islands.
Tohorā Coffee Roasters is based out of Kororareka / Russell, a place categorised by Darwin as the "Hellhole of the Pacific" because of the rowdy sailors and whalers that frequented the trading port in the 1800s. This type of behavior has inspired us to continue with trade and supply activities and the production of finely roasted and fairly traded coffee. The Tohorā represents this journey and the alchemy of respectfully blending together people and natural products.
