We joined the factory tour and really enjoyed it with the kids. The tour takes around an hour and it starts of with the history of tip top, the variety of ice cream along the way, a brief walkthrough of the factory from a top view including some of the production line and a free ice cream at the end with a 5min show. No photography is allowed once you’re in the factory. There is a little merchandise shop where you’ll meet for the tour as well. Bookings are done via the tip top website and it’s recommended to book way in advance if you’re looking for a preferred day/time slot. Cost was $50 for a family of 4.
I am so glad I was able to join the factory tour today. I first learned about it from a TikTok video. As soon as I saw it, I immediately booked a reservation for the tour. It was fascinating to see the history and the production process of the ice cream we eat every day, and it was especially memorable when the factory staff waved at us. All the employees working here seemed so happy, which was very heartwarming. From now on, I will eat the ice cream on the store shelves with a special feeling. I highly recommend the factory tour to those who haven’t experienced it yet. However, it may be boring and very tiring for those with babies or small children. Since pram are not allowed, it is ideal for children who can walk on their own and keep up with the group. During the factory tour, you get to Tip Top ice cream, which is a delightful part of the tour fee! The original merchandise is also highly recommended. After the tour, be sure to check out the shop selling these exclusive items. I had a really enjoyable time!
