Timezone Games

A Cute Little Arcade Timezone has multiple locations, so I'm glad that my game card can be used in all of the Timezone arcades throughout the country. This particular location is rather small and secluded as it is hidden underneath a Burger King. The staff are friendly and helped me with a jammed ticket dispenser. Airconditioning is great in this building. There isn't a large variety of games to choose from. The games are all up and running though, and I notice the Dance Rush game is in good playing condition. Pump It Up XX is in great condition too, the pads aren't dirty or ruined. Prizes could be better, there is a very limited prize pool at this Timezone and there aren't many plushies or claw games here. There just isn't a good range of prizes to choose from, which is why I'd rather save my tickets and get my prize from somewhere else. Overall, this is a quiet little arcade that's well maintained but has outdated machines and a limited range of prize choices. I would like to visit again some time soon.

Tim deserves a pay rise. He has high energy at his job and has a passion to this line of work.

It’s an awesome place to have fun after studying and works. Exercises are really helpful for keeping the energy.

Was a fun Friday here last week. Some cool games, I like the basketball one. I have lived in the city for 2 years on Queen Street and never noticed this till last week! Managed to rip through about $40 in just less than an hour, the games add up quickly but they move you onto a VIP/cheaper card pretty quickly.

It's a little on the pricey side but as far as arcades go, I haven't gotten so strong of a "Wow I want to play all of this!" feeling in more than a decade. The game selection could be larger but what they *do* have is the most recent tech and makes for a great time. The spherical screen shooter in the corner was choice for sure and even my not-gaming-oriented wife was all about it. A. Will be returning.

Sorry but this is incredibly bad value for money. The game times have been set so short that there is hardly enough time for a child to work out what they are meant to be doing; let alone learn the skills to do it. The prices, for the time, are ridiculously high. Perhaps they are appropriate for older teenage immigrants with money to burn on a date; but they are not appropriate to young children that a number of the games are targeted at. The reviews on this site from "local guides" are blatantly faked reviews to keep this site rated so highly. Reduce your prices - you are not providing value for money in my humble opinion.

Okay so I usually go to this arcade and I like its selection of games and after this I hope to continue going there but today's customer service was just horrible. I came in and asked for 35 dollars but the lady must have misheard me and charged me & gave me 45 dollars on my card note this card already had about 170 tickets loaded on it. I told her I asked for 35 not 45, I was given a new card without my tickets so I tell her that she took my tickets and yes I know 170 tickets isnt alot but I still want them. I was given my old card back with my tickets and something happened that ended up with me getting 90 dollars. I decided I would be nice & honest and not spend the 90 dollars which I did not pay for. I went back to the counter and told them that they had incorrectly added $90 rather than the $35 I had asked for. You would expect them to say thanks or maybe even give me like 10 dollars extra for my honesty. Instead I didn't even get a thanks and definitely not any extra credit. If I am gonna come back your quality of customer service needs to change right now.

Great staff, always clean & tidy. Some good modern games too. I go there for the pinball but they don't change the machine often enough IMHO.

I am an arcade person. Visit arcade on a regular basis. They say what you pay for is what you get. Timezone is known for its low pricing. But what you get is very bad customer service and bad machines. Especially the general manager, also known as Nigel is a manager who wants money over customers. Very bad services. Recommend timeout games just underneath imax Queen Street

I was very disappointed when I was at Timezone today. I needed to be assisted by a worker beacuse I put money into one of the machines and I didn’t read the machine properly and it was a machine where you top your card up, and I thought I would of got coins out of them but nothing came and the machine completely turned off so I went to the counter and told the workers and they said you’ll have to talk to a manger and luckily there was 1 Manger right there where I was. So I said excuse me and he was rude at first and he said in a very angry tone what do you want. And I ignored that and told him the situation and he said “ITS NOT OUR PROBLEM..DO YOUR HAVE THE RECIPET” and we said no the machine just complete turned off and i said can u come have a look and he said “EXCUSE ME” and said he just want you to come have a look and it took a lot of convincing to do and then he came and said “can you not read the bloody machine” and he started swearing at us and at that point I got really angry because he started screaming at me and I said are u the manger and he said yes and said do u wanna talk to my manger and I said yes so they came and we told him the story and he said the same stuff and I told him that he was swearing at me and he didn’t even care and all I wanted was my refund and they said we can’t do that and they have us a card with $5 on it and we put $10 into and we realised that when we started or first game and they said no u only put in $5 and I just left after that. There’s a lot that I didn’t explain but this is very poor customer service and there should be some sort of apology or I should of atleast got my money back. And they guy that was swearing at me the “manger’s” name is Ben.
