Neat little area, and part of a coastal walk.nGood views and history noticesnNot much parking close by the lighthouse.nNo toilets .
Not much to do but a nice walk & views for photos. We did go down to the water to stack & skim some rocks which was fun.
Pretty little thing. Lol.nIts just beside the benvenue cliffs too. From the lighthouse, u can actually head down to the beach below.nnNice place.nOh. Short walk from the carpark.
Nice spot and near carpark.
One of the few remaining wooden lighthouses in New Zealand. Designed by John Blackett & constructed in 1878. This is a rather unique, designed lighthouse overlooking Caroline Bay & the Pacific. Has a white tower with a red door & red lantern room at the top. A very easy walk or drive from Highway 1 & well worth a visit when passing through Timaru
