I am in New Zealand for 5 1/2 weeks and I was searching up for an authentic New Zealand café experience. After a hike we were traveling through town and we found Ti Tree Café. I am tickled pink with our choice. We got big coffees and muffins and a peanut butter cookie to go. So happy we stopped in.
Bit hard to get in and look at the cabinet food when it's busy, but other than that the food was fantastic with decent sized portions too. Service was quick and it has a nice little outdoor garden atmosphere to sit in on a sunny day. Pretty good all round and would definitely come back.
So yummy! There are so many gluten-free options! great desserts, too. I had a gluten-free lamp wrap and my partner bao buns. Both delicious!

Quaint cafe with a big spread! The staff were very friendly, and the wait time was next to nothing. Food portions are great, and the coffee was the best I've had outside of Akl.nCheers.
