Excellent food & service from Rhys, Emmery & Roman.nWent for a late lunch, they were closing up, but thanks to Rhys their Cook, he offered to stay open so the four of us could have lunch. We ordered 3 x Eggs Benedict $19 & The full grill $23 Fantastic Prices & Generous portions and tasty hollandaise sauce. Highly recommend for meals, muffins and good quality cappuccinos, Much appreciation to the staff at Thyme 2 Ryes for serving us lunch right on closing time. If you are stopping in Pahautea or in Mangatainoka, this was a great find. There were 6 of us and we ordered an assortment of pies, pastries and hot drinks. Not a crumb was left!nThe Jalapeno, Steak and Cheese pie that I ordered is the best pie I've had all year. I immediately finished and bought another! My son felt the same way about his egg and bacon muffin and had another too! Everyone on the table enjoyed the service and smiles as well as good coffee and hot chocolates. Our only regret was that we were too full to try the massive wedges of Victoria sponge they had.nWe'll be driving back this way in a few weeks and definitely will be making the stop off here!

Stopped in for breakfast on waybto wellington.. Hubby liked his mince and cheese pie.. but I was disappointed in the savory pies.. dry and flavorlessnÉclairs were average. Here's hoping the cookies for my granddaughter are better.nPersonally won't stop here again
