Compared to our last visit from a few years ago, Wharf Shed has come a long way! The place is now great - great location, good food and friendly staff! The food we had were great and enjoyed our time there. Vastly different from our first visit. Congrats on such an amazing turnaround and improvement! Happy to recommend their seafood items and their pork belly. Check our our photos!
Highly recommend this place. The food is amazing, tasty, big portions to share and maybe to take home too. The bread from la madré was excellent and the dips were the right choice. Love the service and the people - very engaging, always asking if we need anything; the barman was very nice and patient while taking our order. Will come back soon!!
Wharf Shed overlooks the pier and the sea and has wonderful views from its strategic location. And adjacent to it is a park with lush greenery. Parking spots are nearby too. All in all, excellant by location. The food is good too. Good number of items on the menu and the quality and portions were good.
No complaints with the taste of the food, except for the pricing it's on the small side, if you'd like a decent sized paella, go up the road. Coffees were surprisingly good and chocolate cake was richly dense without being too dry.Food: 4/5
Highly recommend this places for not just food, views and ambience but also their delicious tank beer! Loved the place.. the staff were helpful and friendly. We didn’t have a reservation but we the staff helped us find a table. Good place for brunch with family and friends.
Enjoyed a Sunday lunch and the food was fantastic, service was great even though they were packed. Food was served within 20 minutes of us ordering. We had a lovely view over the bay and really enjoyed our experience. Booking is essential! Parking: Park in the big parking area and take stroll to the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
A great venue with great views of the bay from most seating. Big windows let in a lot of light so dining inside feels like you're outside. The staff are welcoming and good for some lighthearted, friendly banter. Their is a varied menu here that seems to cover most food groups and items aren't too badly priced either. The food I've had has never disappointed and always arrived at my table in good time. Portion sizes won't leave you hungry either. The coffee hits all the right notes, even with Almond milk. So dine here when you get the time, it is worth it. Parking: Parking nearby isn't free and os currently charged at $3.25 an hour. Free parking is available at Eastern Beach car park just a short walk away.
The Wharf Shed was quite busy for a Saturday evening, but we didn’t have to wait very long for the food. The staff were friendly and attentive. The tables outside were nice to soak up the atmosphere.
Nice presentation, cooked with nice flavour. I ordered king prawn Laksa, perfect amount of spiciness, never had roti with it before, but it's a good combination. The cheese garlic pizza, delicious toowill recommend to all my friends coming to Geelong Beach side.
Very polite staff, Saturday lunch service is a busy one so expect 25-30 minute wait for food. Best to reserve if you want a good a good seat. I had the gummy shark and my partner had the salt and pepper calamari. Calamari was hot, fresh and delicious served with hot chips! The calamari was definitely the better dish of the two, it had a fantastic flavour. Gummy shark was Fresh, lupe warm and served with warm and cold chips which was a bit of a disappointment. I tried a chip from each plate and mine were mostly cold but my partners were fresh and hot! I was a bit jealous. Set aside the cold chips. 2 dishes ordered and 2 drinks cost over 70$ So it’s a bit more on the pricey side for something that didn’t come out hot. I’d expect everything to be hot at the price. Lovely decor though. But sad about the price not matching the quality. I’d hope the venue to produce some consistency. I would also like to add that I did provide feedback and staff offered to get me some hot chips or a slice of cake which was really appreciated but I’d filled up on my Coke Zero by that point, so I did decline. But I can say the customer service from front of house staff is really up there. Some of the best I’ve had. Very lovely people. 1 dish out of the 2. So I would still give this place another go.
