Nice cozy place. We ordered deer, Himalayan Tahr, Nanny goat, all of them are nice, rich in flavor, and real meat.
Staff and service are friendly and professional. Coffee is great. Pies are probably the best I have ever eaten. Bacon and egg, manuka honey and wild pork and venison mince pies are brilliant, full, and tasty with flaky pastry. Definitely give this place a go, your belly will thankyou.
You never get pies of this variety anywhere else and if you love venison steak & cheese good luck to your health diet lol. A little bit pricey but worth it and the portions are perfect. Friendly atmosphere and was served by a lovely Pacific lady there to by the name of Yvonne.

Pineapple, Passion fruit and coconut cake + 2 large lattes $41; that's a great price in today's market.nnPies:nPastry was thick, properly cooked and the base was browned - yum!nFilling: The venison was fat and gristle free, and beautifully tender. The pie sauce was well balanced. A subtle taste of red wine on the buds - yum. Sauce was thick but not floury, it was well cooked.nCoffee: a strong flavour of Havanna Beans to go with the gamey flavour of venison.nCake, sadly I ate that b4 I took a photo, but I've added one from the cabinet. Base was a little dry, but the passion fruit curd middle more than compensated and the coconut icing was moreish.nService: Spectacular, staff were well spoken and served with a smile and very proud of their product - and so they should be.nnWe'll be back, thank you for the beautiful pies.nFrom a very fussy customer
