This review is for gel nails. Although the woman who applied my polish was lovely my nails were a disaster. I had them done for a wedding two days later and by the time of the wedding five of my finger nails were badly chipped and two were starting to peel off. Now, less than a week later, 8 of the 10 fingernails have peeled off!!  Even on day one all of them looked like they had been done at least a week prior because the polish was applied so far away from the cuticle. There were also bits missing on the sides. One of my toes had completely come off. I could tell that the woman was not experienced at doing nails at all. I don’t think this company should be offering nails. I have had gel nails many times and this has to rate as my worst ones yet. The colour selection was also very limited and they had run out of bright red, saying it was “popular”. Well why would you not keep up supplies? Sorry Wax bar but you should stick to waxing or train your nail technicians a LOT better. I did enjoy being chatted to by the woman doing my nails whereas at many nail places the operators don’t speak to me, perhaps because English is not their first language but they do my nails a great deal better than The Wax Bar.

I had such a great experience yesterday morning when I walked in with no appointment, the lady was very accommodating and fit me in even though they were rather busy. Great eyebrow shaping, would highly recommend for some on fleek brows! Thanks ladies x

Ive been a customer of wax bar for well over a year now and i can honestly say i love how these ladies can work appointments around my busy life. I have received many different treatments and most recently a lovely spray tan from the beautiful owner Dee who always makes ms smile

Always amazing service, easy to talk to staff and they always try and do what they can for you. Not too pricey either so wont break the bank! I've ended up becoming a regular and I wont be looking elsewhere

From the moment I walked into shop, was greeted by friendly staff and made to feel at ease. Treatments received were all of a high standard. I couldn't recommend this place enough, check it out for yourself. I'm a fan!!

No where have I ever felt more comfortable and relaxed during a wax treatment than I do here. The staff are professional and so friendly. Thank you for making a normally painful experience far less painful!  Highly recommend.

I have been going to the wax bar for just over a year and would highly recommend them!! Have always come away feeling awesome! Friendly staff and good music!

Just got my nails done with gel. I had to ask the girl at the time to redo two of them but the redone nail was worse than before so just paid and left. Very disappointed.
