Weird profiling security guard with a god complex, I've entered the warehouse 3 times in the last 2 days and he has followed, came up to me and overall just made me uncomfortable to shop there. Walked in for 2 minutes to buy a bag of chips and was followed and came up to during that period. He is a bald indian male and is very weird and disturbing.
Just here to leave a bad review about the te awamutu security guard or Lto I think it’s called at the warehouse working on the 18th April between 1030 and 11ish todayshe pulled me aside as I was exiting the store to get my card from my car and accused me of shop lifting and then asked to check my pockets and for me to pat down my sleeves and pants and found nothing she was unconvinced so I took my jacket off shook it and squeezed the sleeves she was still uncovinced I offered for her to check my jacket herself she did not want tonnShe then said do you know why I’ve pulled you aside today I said no she claimed to have footage of me stealing today as well as at an earlier date which she did not because I haven’t stolen before,I told her that was impossible,she let me know that she was very good at her job and she knew “women like me who walk around like they own the store” and my shoplifting was obvious and she had the proof apparently,she told me she was going to trespass me from the store,this was very stressful as te awamutu is my local and I go there often with this in mind I was determined not to be trespassed for something I didn’t donnI asked to see this footage because I know that it doesnt exist at the same time as she was finding the footage she must have called the police even though there was no reason to as I was standing there patiently waiting for her to prove herself wrong eat her own words and apologise for speaking down to me the way she did and humiliating me at the front of the store as people walked past for no good reasonnnone cop stood with me outside taking down my details as I cried while she tryed to find proof to show the officers,they reviewed the tapes which showed what I had said the whole time I didn’t steal anything a trespass was not issued in the end this experience was humiliatingnnI went to my car to compose myself from crying and then went back in to grab my groceries I wanted to grab her first name from the lady at the customer service desk and job title so I could make an accurate complaint she just told me she can’t give out those details as they are to personalnI feel really uncomfortable at the store nownnI want to note that this is not the first time she has checked me at the door and I understand that doing checks is part of the job but it’s inappropriate to handle it the way she did I felt so embarrassed especially when she called the cops and threatened me with a trespass notice without even reviewing the tapes and me emptying my pockets and taking off my jacket was still not good enough I would love a follow up about thisnnAlso not sure what she meant by women like me
My toilet bag may have been to many places and has seen better days along with the owner.Found and bought a new one to suit me and my travels. This may be a lunch box to others but a perfect toilet bag for me.
great store I always get lots of good stuff there the staff is nice and it's easy to find stuff around the store.
Extremely limited stock and sizes! Some ailes are hard to go down if you have a trolley especially by the clothes. Only go there if I can't make it to Hamilton that week but usually leave in disappointment anyway.
