Very poor customer service, I do not recommend this warehouse by all means . My sister and I had cash and couldn’t use the self checkout machines so we waited in line where a staff member was helping another customer while me and my sister were waiting, we did not know that the station was closed because the sign was not in the middle of the counter and so he said “surprisingly you can’t read this sign I’ll just help you instead” while saying it so rudely and slamming the cashier register . Do better. Don’t take your frustration out on customers if you don’t wanna work there
Went to Takanini warehouse today 07/25. Couldn’t find this water table anywhere so I went front desk and asked. Staff was super helpful a guy and a young girl I didn’t get her name, she helped locate and even grabbed out a ladder to get it for me!nSuper grateful!!nThank you!!
I genuinely don’t understand how this place has so many positive reviews, because my experiences have been consistently poor. There is hardly ever any staff available, and when you do find someone, they often don’t know how to help. Asking for assistance feels like an inconvenience to them, and the attitude is rude and unwelcoming. Customer service here is seriously lacking and needs major improvement.
Worst customer service experience. I visited the Takanini warehouse to find an item that was showing as available in-store, but it was not on the shelf. I asked multiple staff members for help, but they only told me to look around myself. After searching the entire warehouse for about 30 minutes, I went to the customer service desk. The staff member said she would check, and I waited another 30 minutes. When I went to find her, she was busy with other tasks and seemed to ignore my request. Eventually, I was told the item was out of stock. I wasted over an hour for an item that wasn't even available.
We went in to make a purchase because The Warehouse advertises a price match policy. At the counter, we showed all the details and met all the price match requirements, but the staff member declined it straight away without even checking.nnWe then spoke to the manager, who told us they don’t price match with online stores. However, I checked their policy online and there is nothing mentioned about excluding online retailers. The price we were matching was also from a New Zealand–based company.nnThis was really misleading as a customer, especially when the policy is advertised but not honoured in store. Very disappointing experience.
