Story

The Vocal Lab specialises in effective singing methods specifically tailored for vocalists and singer/songwriters of all levels. Our philosophy is based on four principles of study - Physiology, Posture, Breathing and Resonance.

Our lessons are based on vocal techniques from various backgrounds (classical to contemporary) teachings that will advance you in the real world of music, we recognise that every person is different, with a unique voice. One particular technique might not work on everyone. So whether you are a seasoned performer stuck inside your comfort zone wanting a change, or an absolute beginner wanting to learn the fundamentals of singing.

We welcome singers of all ages (children aged 10 years and older) and all backgrounds, from beginners through to professionals, whether you have had lessons in the past or not.

"The Vocal Lab specialises in CCM Contemporary Commercial Music singing lessons including Pop, Rock, RnB, Soul, Jazz, Blues, Folk and Musical Theatre, Cabaret, etc..We work with a range of students of varying ages and abilities. These include young motivated singers, vocalists starting auditioning for bands and/or performing art schools, adult hobbyists returning to singing, choir singers, absolute beginners to seasoned performers who use their voice for a living."
