The Vineyard @ Rossendale, located on Old Tai Tapu Road near Halswell and only fifteen minutes from central Christchurch, will create the most memorable wedding event ever! Offering the not-so-ordinary, true vineyard experience in a picturesque setting.

The specially designed events centre, set amongst beautiful gardens and with the backdrop of a working vineyard, is the perfect venue for a memorable wedding reception.

We had our Xmas function here with a DJ. Was beautiful venue on a beautiful night ! Food was really good too and staff are friendly and professional too. Sadly I'm not a wine guy, so missed out on enjoying them . A great night out, would recommend trying it !

We recently hosted a large group function here 75+ people we prebooked drinks and canapes,and desserts. We had THE MOST MEMORABLE experience, it was simply wonderful. The view out to the spawling vineyard is picturesque and worth a visit alone. The food was delicious, and service was impeccable, our host Lucinda was very pleasant and I was thankful for the occasional banter. The barman had a magnetic personality and was very good. I'll certainly be back, and we'll be booking in again for next year. Cheers guys, and a job very well done, good feedback from the whole group!

I'm a local wedding photographer and feel compelled to leave Rossendale Vineyard this review after yet another wonderful wedding with their staff yesterday. The level of care, organisation and calmness Graham, Liz and their staff bring to every wedding is top notch. Their events always run like a well oiled machine and even us freelance vendors are treated with the upmost care and respect. I always look forward to visiting their beautiful grounds. Thank you, from a very appreciative wedding regular!

Attended a Christmas lunch function but disappointed with the service and food. Our large group had booked in but they didn't seem ready with our arranged pre-drinks. No xmas decorations anywhere and the food ran out at the buffet. Staff not very accommodating. Heard it is under new management.

I agree with Chris. The lunch was very disappointing. We have been there many times before and it had always been excellent. My table was towards the end to get dessert and there wasn’t any left. I would not go back again.

We had our wedding at Rossendale in feb 2022. We couldn't fault anything! The staff, venue, setting, gardens were all amazing. The food is out of this world and Liz and Graham go the extra mile to make sure everything runs perfectly. Thank you all so so much for being a part of and creating the best day of our lives! We recently got married at Rossendale and the service we received was exceptional. Graham and Liz were very accommodating and made sure our day was perfect. The day went amazingly thanks to the awesome staff. The food was incredible and we received only positive feedback from our guests, most saying it was the best wedding venue and food they had experienced. They went above and beyond to cater to guests dietary requirements. Thank you!

Could not ask for a better venue! The beautiful and well kept grounds gives a lovely landscape. The staff on the day were helpful and professional ensuring everyone was well fed and watered! The food was impeccable and they were able to cater to many different dietary requirements. A special mention to Ty on the day for her work. The wedding went perfectly and that could not happen without the care and professionalism of Graham and Liz. Their help in the lead up and tremendous work on the day makes for a relaxed environment- no matter what issues they are dealing with behind the scenes. Our wedding at Rosendale was spectacular and it is the combination of the grounds, staff and management that makes it this perfect.

Amazing place to have a wedding or any event! Good food! Good service! A hidden gem in Christchurch. So close to city centre, but you feel so far away! Love this place!

Absolutely fabulous venue, beautiful gardens, lovely staff and the food was the best ever!!
