Story

We are a Boutique Hair, Nail, Beauty and Tanning salon, nestled in amongst a cafe and farm shop in Whatawhata called "The Village". With a play ground on the premises, beautiful food, coffee and not to mention a gorgeous farm shop to browse for local produce or the perfect gift. Its the perfect place to come to relax and unwind. We are passionate about making you look and feel your best. We believe in doing beautiful work whether it be just a fringe trim or manicure or the works we are perfectionists at our trade and we love to make you look and feel great!

Nice place to stopover and grab a bite, as well as let the kids loose on the play area outside. Lots of options on the menu, including Kids options. The cabinet food is worth checking out too. Great coffee and service. It can be quite busy and you can call ahead to reserve a table for large groups. Bonus, it's dog friendly!
What an adorable place to stop for a break. Strong coffee and taste great. Had the big breakfast and it was delicious. Service was friendly and food came quite fast too. Plenty of space for kids to run around with bonus playground. Some adorable rabbits and Guinea pigs around if interested. There are a few shops next to cafe for a bit of shopping for those interested with this activity :D.
It's all in the name. It has an alluring ambiance of a village setting. Even in this weather it's quite pleasant. Our 1 year old loved the swings and the rides and specially his Fluffy. Always satisfies my wife's coffee cravings. As for me I took on the Farmers Brunch which was impressively fresh and delectable on my palate. Really happy with the food and ambiance. Portions are a happy sight for the price. Highly recommended.
Whatawhata is a beautiful place, and the people are too. The village cafe is no exception! We really enjoyed our breakfast, scrambled & poached eggs with award winning coffee and a nice decent size pot of tea. Also had a scone from the cabinet Thanks
Lovely service, great staff and good coffee. However I wish there were more plant based options. I found that there were very few vegetarian options as compared to meat based options. Most cafes are now adding more vegan/vegetarian options. So it would be wonderful to see more plant based options :. Overall an amazing cafe with a cool vibe.
A nice destination cafe with a country vibe. Wide selection of tasty cabinet food and popular menu items. Spacious, the fun playground keeps the kids busy while the cafe area can easily accommodate everyone's needs from groups to cosy casual dining. Coffee is also excellent. Boutique shops add to the village atmosphere making this a must do on everyone's list.
Been here twice and had two great meals. Kids love the playground, and tables are well situated to be able to keep an eye on them.
Nice breakfast and nice place to stop by. Animals and playground. In this small village with other small shops all around. So cute.
A hidden treat, close to Hamilton The wife and I go here often, bringing friends with us for weekend brunches. The place is very family friendly, and has a kids playground. Every time we have been, the food has been consistently good, and is of a decent size. Staff are efficient, and are more than happy to help. If you're heading to, or through, Hamilton I thoroughly recommend this place. Kid-friendliness: Kids playground is large, and parents can monitor the kids at play while having a coffee and a chat. Parking: On and off road parking
We found this spot on our way to New Plymouth, and then had to stop in again on our way home. Fantastic range of gluten-free cabinet options. Everything was so delicious. Even though it was busy the service was smooth and efficient.Food: 5/5
