Delicious food! The pasta with the vegetarian corizo was amazing and also the vegan cauliflower dish was great! Service is also very friendly - we liked it a lot and can definetely recommend it!
Had dinner here the other night. The waitress was so nice!! Very friendly, helpful and upbeat which was great. The food was average -.. we found everything to be very expensive 19$ for 4 pieces of sushi, more than expensive it wasn’t very good.. we had the sushi 6/10 and goat cheese spread 5/10 as starters, and the halumi dish 8/10, black rice with tufo best dish-10/10 and the cauliflower 3/10 as mains. We also ate the penna cotta 1/10 as dessert which was really not for us. The vibe of the place is great, awesome view and very nice staff members, but the food need’s some work. Probably wouldn’t come again‍
So delicious! Very relaxed. Excellent wine and food menu. Kids menu and colouring. Gorgeous setting and lovely, friendly service.
Amazing food! We had vege stack and lasagna and loved them! We had manuka cream brulee and it was the best!! Loved everything and definitely want to go back. Opens only in the evening from 18:00~ Wine was good too!
The food was ok: the tofu was nice and the risotto was alright. We were disappointed to be denied service of alcohol because we did not have our passports. This is understandable as it is New Zealand law and we respectfully understood the waitress’ decision. However another young couple who came after us and sat right next to us were not asked to show their ID by the same waitress. It is fine to follow the rules but they need to be applied consistently to avoid upsetting customers. Because of this and the food not living up to its price, there are better options out there as a vegetarian.
Decent, fully-vegetarian restaurant. We stayed at Kimi Ora Eco Resort so it was handy to go to this restaurant on site as there are limited food options in the area. The cauliflower dish was very good and we loved the smoky flavour. The halloumi okonomiyaki was just okay.Food: 4/5
Very disappointed. The mushrooms, black rice and red onion pickles were hard to find in our entree, and the black rice was undercooked. It was mainly a mesclun salad - but this was not even mentioned in the ingredients. Mains: the texture of seitan chorizo was rubbery and tough. Rest of main was OK but portion was very small and we left the venue hungry. I'm not sure how this place got the high rating it has been given by others.
It's not worth 4.9 stars. Pizza was a bit soggy and the base was poor, no tomato sauce, but hey ho, I'll look past that. We were pressured by the staff to eat quickly indirectly, since my friend was still eating and they were clearing up the dishes. Please next time, wait till everyone has finished their meals.. and then clear up, it's a bit more relaxed that way. You'll get fed here, but it won't be memorable. Nice view though.
This Is a wonderful location and should be a memorable experience. The service was excellent. However the decor belongs to the 90s and the exterior is in poor repair. The food was well presented, pleasant but not outstanding and so a little overpriced. A vegetarian restaurant could have a funky, modern vibe but sadly, The Views doesn’t.
Nice people, nice food. So good we didn't even miss meat.Food: 5/5
