Modestly decorated restaurant. Heaps of tables and spaced decently apart. Good selection of entrees and dinner menus. Food is also pretty good and reasonably priced. The staff weren't overly friendly and their English is limited. Otherwise a good experience.
Had my lunch here the other day and I have no complaints... I loved the food and the price was reasonable as well... Will go back...

Great Thai food and I have eaten here for many years 28 years. I recently tried its takeaway version which was also tasty but expensive compared to other Thai takaways in the region. Service is always of a high standard. Normally this place is 10/10 for takeaways, but unsure what happened on the night of the 3/2... ordered a mild curry and yet there was no flavour of the curry whatsoever! Normally theres a bit of a wee kick, ie you at least can taste the curry flavour. Check on your chefs guys! Letting you down...
I had heard that the Traditional Thai Restaurant in Main St, Upper Hutt was the best Thai restaurant in the Hutt Valley and after our visit tonight I couldn't agree more. The food was delicious, the best thai food I have had in years. The service was prompt and friendly. We were made very welcome by the staff. The decor was vibrant, elegant and authentic. There was plenty of space and the restaurant was tidy and clean. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for high quality thai food.
Waited 30mins and still didn’t come over to take our order or offer drinks despite us going to the counter to ask to be served. I understand it’s busy but dine in customers should take priority. We left and got dinner elsewhere.
Tasty food and a nice atmosphere but the food was tailored to a kiwi customer base. This limits the menu options somewhat and if you want Thai food with a healthy amount of spiciness you should ask the staff.Food: 4/5
The BEST Thai restaurant in ALL of Wellington region. How lucky are we to have them local in Upper Hutt! Fresh! Delicious! Tasty! Healthy! Always delivers great beautiful cuisine! My favorite since 2009 when I first tried their meals. Still here always appreciate Always come back. Tried EVERYTHING off the menu! My favorite pad thai M17 and roti with satay sauce! Come to dine in and celebrate family and friends birthdays. Something for everyone! Amazing polite staff, very happy and always giving their best qualities. Thank you!!
I've not been here for year as I have lived away from upper hutt for about 10 years. The Traditional Thai had not changed at all, still great fast service and amazing flavor filled dishes, service with a smile to add. Definitely coming back next time I'm in uppers anyone looking for great Thai, you found it here
