Melbourne CBD shopping institution. Stylish and I used to be scared to go in because everything looks branded and expensive. Still have branded goods but almost similar range to Myer. Nice layout and not too cramped.
This year's Santa was an absolute delight! It may not have been as extravagant as years past, but the total attention my kids got from Santa and quality conversations were my children's favourite by far and they didn't want to leave.
Staff was accomodating. We went to the Tommy Hilfiger area and bought the nicest shirt I've ever had. The price was reasonable and the quality of the cloth was amazing.
I love shopping at David Jones Melbourne store. It is a Melbourne Icon. The sales are always genuine. The merchandise is always excellently presented,the staff is helpful it is not chaotic like some large department stores. Always pleasant.
Received an email last week offering a further 10% discount - went to the Bourke Street store, bought the item and was told no discount...we're not part of David Jones. Huh...trading in David Jones...then handed me a receipt with David Jones all over it. Emailed back to David Jones, no response.
