Owned and operated by Adam Craft, and home to resident tattoo artists Liesje, Aaron Aziel, Naomi Smith, Ben Jenkins, Ben Raddatz, plus piercers Jess and Dayna. Also regularly hosting world class guest artists.
Stocking artwork/prints and merch by both in-house and international artists, jewellery by Metal Couture, Chris Sheehan, Nick Von K, plus many more tattoo related accoutrements.

Probably one of the best experiences I have had in a store kind of setting ever. The staff were very good and skilled and Jess talked me through exactly what was going to happen and proper aftercare, etc. They also do follow up to check that your piercing is healing correctly and stuff, which I didn't know. Will be back for sure!

Came here for a consultation and 2 weeks later I had my tattoo done by Liesje. Very nice, truly talented and an extremely professional person who takes her job very seriously. Resident piercer Jess is brilliant. Today was my fourth piercings—double vertical eyebrows with her and she’s the only one in Auckland I trust to pierce me. She knows how to work with your anatomy and will never pierce something that won’t work for you. She is a total perfectionist and won’t let you leave the studio with something she isn’t completely happy with. Aftercare follow-up is excellent, I’ve never had any issues with my healing process.  Receptionist Cat is awesome to chat with while you wait, she’s given me some great feedback on my piercings ideas too! :  Note: Photo is of my lip piercings by Jess philtrum, vertical labret and one snakebite by her and I will add photos of double eyebrows when healed!

I had three ear piercings done at The Tattooed Heart with Jess and planning to come back to get more done. I had a wonderful experience, I was a bit worried for my first conch piercing but she immediately put me at ease, talked me through the entire process and made me feel really comfortable. She was such a lovely person, very kind and professional.

Had the most amazing experience with Jess getting a septum piercing! I was super nervous but she was really enthusiastic about it and clearly took me through everything that was going to happen. Super awesome place and an awesome experience overall! Could not recommend this place more!!

Sweetest staff ever. Incredibly accomodating, great jewelry selection. Can't wait to come visit again and get pierced!  Side note: highly appreciated that staff and clients wear masks. Even in this "post covid" setting, hygeine is clearly valued and the wellbeing of their community is a priority. Thank you!

Very friendly and ambitious team. The woman at the reception was eagerly helping me trying to find a good motive for the tattoo since I only had an vague idea. The artist I'm saying artist because what he does is beautiful art was friendly and came up with his own idea's for the tattoo. He was gentle and very professional. If you are a fan of older rock music, you gonna love it because that's what he likes to hear while doing his work. Very good place and I'm more then satisfied with this beautiful tattoo, thank you!
