The last two owners have been awesome. The food is delicious and the manakitangahospitality was great. While waiting they brought over some snacks for my 7year old to snack on for free. Service plates were heated so when I put my curry on it kept it warm. They checked on us to make sure we had what we needed. For a small town this is great service.

Hey bro resto-bar, a new hotspot for Indian cuisine in Otorohanga. I had dinner with my family there last night and it was fantastic! The ambience and service was spot on. They have a vast selection of entrees, veg and non-veg options. Neat dining sets and a clear approach to cleanliness. We had a samosa as a starter. Also, they served us hot entree plates. Which, it is the only restaurant in Otorohanga that serves hot plates for entrees and main plates.nI was very impressed. Samosa’s very very light and crisp. Our server was very polite, he tended to our table with utmost care. We ordered 2 buttered chickens, a veg curry serve with buttery basmati rice and naans. The curries were very nice, buttered chicken is spot on and my veg curry was just the right hotness for me to enjoy.nThe Naan breads were hot and fluffy, great pair for the curry.nOver all we had a great experience.nHighly recommended if you’re craving for a delicious spice treat.
Amazing food and exceptional table service. The new owner was very engaging and polite, taking the time to check in with guests which was a lovely personal touch. We had a great night out with the family and felt really welcome. Highly recommend!
A very welcoming atmosphere, we were welcomed and the host instantly made us feel like we were long lost friends. The service was great and the food arrived really quickly. All of the food was wonderfully tasty and just a great experience overall. Feedback from our group was awesome, really good, fabulous, sweet, and delicious. Highly recommend
