Love this restaurant! First visit and will definitely return. The staff were so friendly and kind to our children. They Seated us in a booth and the kids were happy. Food was delicious and came out quickly. Overall great atmosphere and amazing food! Really enjoyed our family meal out. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant have booths at the side of the restaurant is great for young children to sit comfortably next to parents.
Pleasantly surprised. If you are looking for fresh, authentic tasting food, you’re in the right place. Beautiful, clean decor and great service, I was a little sceptical at first as I read a few old reviews but the new ownership of the restaurant has revamped and renovated wonderfully. One of the best curry places I have been to and that’s speaking as a curry connoisseur. Will be visiting again with the family for sure as the booths were great for keeping the kids busy whilst we enjoyed our food. Kid-friendliness: Booths
This used to be Spice Valley, and I avoided Spice Valley unless friends insisted I went for a birthday celebration. It has been taken over and is totally different and has a name change to reflect this. The food is regional Indian food, cooked to a very high standard and tasty with layers of flavour. I had soft shell crabs for the first time in my 65+yrs' life. They were awesome. If you are a bit adventurous with your food, then I suggest you try them. I then had lamb with Okra ladies' fingers and spicy rice. The lamb was lovely and tender, and not tough like it is in some curry houses where they rush the cooking and you get tough chewy lamb. The spicy rice had a touch of heat but was flavoursome and well worth eating. At a lot of Inian/Asian restaurants. I can't be bothered to eat all the meal and take some home in a doggy bag. No chance of that in this restaurant. I polished off the lot. This new venture is well worth supporting, unlike its predecessor. I will be returning. Vegetarian options: A lot of Indian food can be vegetarian Parking: Use Waitrose carpark. It is free after 7pm. Even if u arrive just before 7pm u will only pay for an hours parking. Make sure u read the parking signs as these can change the regulations at any time.
Thought we'd give the newish Indian restaurant a try. Arrived after ordering online approx 20 mins after the order. I was like 'oh no!!!!! Just finished our meal. Awful, just awful. I could swear my dish was defrosted or cooked in a slow cooker due to how wet it was. I had a Garlic, chilli chicken. Chocked full of onions, yet the menu doesn't mention them as a main ingredient. Sauce is transparent and my plate was full of water. I have a photo showing how bad it is. Lacked any flavour and tasted of water. I also had a Ginger Naan bread as I thought that would be different. I'll be honest, I couldn't really taste the ginger. No Asian chef cooked this, I guarantee it! What is up with Bromsgrove Indian restaurants not ever being even close to the standard of Lye, Cradley, Walsall, Birmingham etc considering they're only a stone throw away. Please..... Someone who knows how to cook a decent curry.... Please come to Bromsgrove, urgently!!! 2nd worst curry in my life! Abysmal!!! We were robbed!!!
Called in on speck. Great food and excellent service. REAL Peshwari Naan with almonds, coconut and raisins not a plain one with honey on it as a lot of places try to get away with!. Will definitely be back.
Ordered via Just Eat, delivery was quick and food hot, however the curry we had was possibly the worst curry i have had. Chicken Tkka Massala had no flavour, chicken was dry and was almost like plain chicken in tinned tomato's. Husbands meal was also lacking in flavour, not as described and wet like it had been cooked in aslow cooker. I am so annoyed of having poor standard of curries in Bromsgrove! 1st and last time we will be using.
We have used Tamarind Club since it opened for both dine in & delivery's, it is now my favourite Indian restaurant in Bromsgrove, Nothing is too much trouble for Hassan & the team. If I had one peice of advice for improvement for them it is upgrade toilets ASAP, but the food & service is top notch Food: 5/5
Have used the restaurant onn3 occasions now. Food has been excellent. Service is a little slow, which I'm sure will improve as the staff get used to it. So give it a try and please bear with the staff, foods worth the wait.Food: 5/5
Me and my son tried Tamarind Club for the 1st time. I had a delivery and the person who brought the food was a lovely person. I had chicken balti and my son had chicken korma with garlic naan. The food was lovely and my son who is a fussy eater eat it all. So I would order from here again.
Despite not being open very long, this restaurant has already impressed me with its dense and rich flavours, attentive service and diverse menu. Choosing from the speciality portion of the menu did not disappoint. The chicken amchor was earthy with delicious sweet afternotes from the mango and the peshwari naan was delightfully sweet with an abundance of coconut hidden within. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and will be back soon.
