The Talisman Cafe

A good place to have some well earned food and beverages after doing walks in Karangahake Gorge area. The entrance area as well the interiors are interesting. We had wedges and tea/coffee - which were all okay.

A lovely place to rest and refresh after walking the Karangahake Gorge trails. Great toasted sandwiches and milk shakes. The owners have gone to a great deal of trouble to create a beautiful themed garden outdoors and a restful atmosphere indoors.

What lovely service and the best iced coffee we've ever had. Will make it a regular request every time we come through now. Hoping your family member has recovered from their hospital stay.

This is a peaceful little haven with good food, great coffee and friendly staff. The food is bit on the pricey side.

Really nice cafe. Gorgeous garden area with some pretty impressive carvings. All food and drink we had there was great. Service efficient and friendly too. Highly recommended
