Had a fantastic breakfast at Storehouse Café in Taupō. The food was fresh, well-presented, and absolutely delicious, with a great atmosphere to sit back and relax.nnA special shout-out to Marshall, the barista, who was exceptional. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from the moment I walked in. He made one of the best coffees I’ve had on my New Zealand trip and really added to the overall experience with his positive attitude and great customer service.nnIt’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back, not just for the food and coffee, but for the people. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Taupō.
Tasty meal in a clean, quiet, rustic environment. They have a guy behind the counter who gives off a great vibe and makes you feel welcome. Would definitely be back.nnEdit: I requested the bacon to be crispy and it came exactly how I like it
Solid cafe especially for doing some work! Heaps of seating and free wifi. Coffee and food are good. I really enjoyed the Keto Peanut Butter Bar I had the other day. Definitely my go to cafe whenever I'm in Taupo.
The café is looking a bit grubby, a bit frayed around the edges and the food followed suit. The menus have seen better days a few years ago so we should have seen the signs. The Buddha Bowl was just sub par. Wet quinoa and beetroot salad, squashed leaves, unripe sliver of avocado. All a bit meh TBH.
Trendy little cafe in an old storehouse building. Awesome atmosphere and quiet background music for easy conversation over your meal. We had the Power Breakfast with bacon and a large coffee. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The place is clean and tables well stocked. The coffees arrived first and were perfect taste and temperature and the meal was a large serving with house made beans and the mushroom was delicious. The potato rosti was the best I’ve had. Bacon, sausage, poached eggs were perfection and the toast delicious with real butter. An amazing meal and well worth the price. All this for $72NZ is great value. Thanks and I hope I can return soon.
