Absolutely blown away by the quality of Mark's collection, it honestly rivals Te Papa and the Auckland art gallery for  modern NZ works from some very special artists. To top it off being able to view them in such a relaxed atmosphere being guided by the collector himself is a very special experience. An absolute must do and I would make the time especially if you are passing through for the ferry. Will definitely be returning as Mark rotates his collection through the gallery.

Mark Stevenson has amassed a veritable treasure trove of renown and upcoming art works featuring both New Zealand and Australia artists. He is happy to share his collecting journey through a guided tour of the hanging artworks and you are treated to a rare encounter with reverent, eclectic pieces which could so easily be hidden away from the enjoyment of all. A must see when visiting Picton.
