Welcome to The Station, Omakau, your most original accommodation on the Beautiful Otago Central Rail Trail.

Story

We offer comfortable, clean, friendly accommodation in a unique purpose built Station at Omakau. We are situated right alongside the Otago Central Rail Trail. Relax and unwind in your own private room. Each room is complete with large ensuite bathroom and 32" LED TV. There is a shared lounge area with amazing views towards the Matakanui Range. Included in your $150 per room per night rate (2 people), is a delicious continental breakfast. We offer two Queen Rooms and One Twin Room with King Single Beds. We look forward to welcoming you into The Station, Omakau!

Karin was a great host! We stayed over Easter weekend and she had a yummy slice waiting for us and easter eggs. Clean and tidy facilities and awesome historical place to stay. We really enjoyed staying here and was one of our highlights of our trip.
Karin is a very welcoming host, The Station has all amenities you need, great guest quarters with comfy beds and ensuite in each room. Only spent one night here but would highly recommend to anyone wanting accommodation in the area
