About

The official page of The Station in Rangiora

Story

The Station is a fully licensed cafe, housed in a beautifully restored 1909 railway station building. We are open seven days a week for brunch and lunch from 8.30am - 4pm. The Station offers an extensive a la carte menu, including all day brunch. A small cabinet selection is also available and changes daily, including delicious scones, muffins, slices and melts all made from our kitchen.

Functions and boutique weddings are also welcome. The Station has the ability to cater for everyone and all occasions, whether it's a takeaway coffee, a business lunch meeting or a private function. Contact us for more information if you have a special event you would like to celebrate at The Station.

The Station has the perfect atmosphere generated by al fresco dining, great Allpress coffee, wholesome food and friendly staff who work hard and are passionate about giving excellent service. There is a huge car park with easy access. Families are welcome, there is a sandpit for children to play in.

The atmosphere was nice. Coffee was good. Friendly staffs. Food portions are quite plenty for me personally but all good. Other than that, might prolly be a bit careful with birds stealing your food if you have outdoor seating, but that's handle-able I suppose :

My now go to brunch destination. You have to try the pancakes they are the best I have ever had! Great atmosphere, stuff for the kids and adults to do like air hockey, a playground and a bean bag game. The place is always immaculate! Well done guys keep it up!

Amazing food and really good coffee. Great service, staff were quite friendly with my dog. Lovely outside sitting, nice and warm. Highly recommend to come. Will come back afterward definitely.
It was good but I think they're trying to pack to much too much flavor into the food. I went with 2 chefs and a excellent cook to eat brunch. I had pancakes, I don't remember what the others had but we all felt the flavors were competing with each other a bit. Presentation was great, atmosphere was great and service was good.
