Hours advertise that it closes at 3, however we were rushed away gates closed before 2:30, we drove out to have lunch and do the pottery painting session only to get told that we can’t do both, thought considering they were rushing us to finish the pottery before 2:15 we’d still have 45mins to eat but apparently not.nnHad fun doing the pottery but it was not enough time, it was very restrictive for the price, not worth driving all the way out to do and not being able to make the most of it. Could be such a great experience…
Absolutely love coming here as there is a great playground outside for the kids. Food however is average. And service isn't too great, girls behind the counter always seem like they don't want to be there. Ordered some chips and a milkshake 10 mins before their kitchen closed, and got told they want to close early today as it's a quiet arvo for them. My milkshake was half assed and clearly they are pissed off that I came in as their last customer when they wanted to close up. My milkshake wasn't even mixed up and all the caramel flavouring was stuck at the bottom and just tasted like chemical. Such a shame as its a wonderful spot if you have children.
Coffee is adequate. Carrot cake was stodgy with minimal icing, calamari was okay. Service was quick and friendly. This place is kid friendly - this should absolutely be taken as a warning for people who don't enjoy shrieking and the constant jarring loud noises of the air hockey table. Shame as I remember this place being great years ago - they had the best steak sandwich and the coffee was heaps better.
Awesome place for kids! Great food and the playground was the best I've seen at any cafe. Kids platter was epic and even came with free toys. Will be back here for sure.
The atmosphere was nice. Coffee was good. Friendly staffs. Food portions are quite plenty for me personally but all good. Other than that, might prolly be a bit careful with birds stealing your food if you have outdoor seating, but that's handle-able I suppose :
