It was quiet on a cold rainy day but the staff were warm and friendly. The sausage roll I had was good, and I enjoyed the salad and dressing on the side. The hot chocolate was the nicest I have had for a long time, actually chocolatey.
Hi everyonenWent here for brekkie on Sunday, lots of families out enjoying a beautiful day. The new owners are doing a fab job… the gf options are excellent and the coffee was great to. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We booked in for a group of 15 to celebrate my daughter’s 4th birthday at 1pm. It was a great day, food arrived promptly multiple bowls of fries and wedges and it was great! People ordered drinks too and coffee was great. Staff were attentive and brought out our cake when we requested it there was a $20 cake charge to bring our own cake. We did have to go back inside to request plates etc for serving the cake but these were happily provided.nThe only reason this isn’t 5 stars is that the woman in charge was exceptionally rude to the other staff. This happened in front of a few of us at various times and we all felt uncomfortable with it and felt very sorry for the younger staff. Hopefully she was just having a bad day, but it was bad form - especially in front of customers!nThank you for a great day otherwise - highly recommend
We found this Cafe to be super expensive. $62 for a brunch for 2 people. There were items on my plate that were far from fresh - a fried potato cake type of thing which was crunchy thru being stale. The sea food chowder that my Dad ordered was divine and he really enjoyed it.nThere was no ambience, and we both felt we wouldn't return. I did make it known to the staff my potato cake was stale, but they didn't show any concern. No brunch for 2 people should cost $62.
The service was fast, and friendly. The coffee was hot and beautifully brewed.nThe chocolate brownie was chocolatey, soft and devine.nLoaded wedges, could have done with more red onion, in fact I hardly saw any and didn't taste any. Wedges had a soft potato centre -yum, heaps of sour cream delivered, but I did ask for extra. I personally would have preferred a bit more sweet chili sauce.
