The food was ok. I asked for a sunny side up flipped, and I got an over fried egg. Sausage was only half, not sure where the other half went and was overcooked but was still ok. Staff, not the friendliest, the place looks ok
We needed a coffee that was dog friendly, as we were travelling back to Dunedin with our pup. The staff here were amazing! It was a bit cold, but we were able to sit in the gorgeous stable area with our dog, and the long black and chocolate fudge cake were the best I’ve had in ages!! They provided a bowl of water for our pup. Absolutely wonderful! One of the highlights of our trip!
The Stable Kitchen is a nice little cafe with good food and friendly staff. There's a good range of cabinet food on offer and a nice menu. A great spot to stop for a bite to eat when you're on the road or visiting Gore.
Went in today and got a coffee and the soup, great pricing as most places are out the gate these days. Staff were so lovely, you can tell it’s a great work environment and they are happy which is so important. The soup was amazing too, perfectly seasoned. I’ll definitely be back!
I went here for my coffee this morning, which was a good brew, but not the best ever. However, the service is exceptional. I went back for lunch and the food is delicious and excellent value. I can highly recommend this gorgeous eatery.
