We have spent a week travelling from Nelson to Invercargill and breakfast at The Stable Kitchen topped every other breakfast in size and taste! The coffee was excellent and the atmosphere in the old post office amazing. I highly recommend it.
Food was fab! Best hash browns and the bacon was sooo tasty! Great value for money and the coffee went down a treat! This place deserves way more stars!!nNow I need to roll out the door because the portions was amazing! Couldn’t leave a bite behind !
Great coffee! Cosy atmosphere and quaint. We went on a late morning weekend, the place is packed but the service is efficient. I ordered french toast, it was good and the serving is generous. Again, the coffee is great! I'm very pleased we went here during our visit to Gore.
A quaint coffee shop in a historic post office building. The food was delicious, coupled with warm NZ hospitality makes this the perfect stop en route to Dunedin. We had the full breakfast and French toast. One of our tastiest meals here in NZ!
The best coffee in NZ, hot and strong with great foam on the cappuccino. NZ has excellent cappuccino everywhere, but this was the very best.nThe cheese rolls were good, too.
