Amazing place, exquisite food, amazing service and gorgous atmosphere. Loved everything about my experience there. I can't fault the food or service. I used to work in silver service and the food was comparable in quality which is very rare to find!

Spare Room is... live jazz loud enough to groove to, soft enough to still speak over... a menu that reads so delicious that you’ll struggle to decide, and the taste does not disappoint... a buzzing atmosphere, even on a mid-week night... engaging waiting staff... generally a thoroughly enjoyable night out!
Good fusion food and a great list of cocktails and wines. We tried the pizza and chicken wings, both were delicious. Staff were also very friendly. It is not a cheap as the Sawtell Hotel but great location for a treat.

We were really disappointed that you only had your pizza available and not your full menu. We drove from Bellingen to get pizza that was not worth the drive. Customer service was really good but the food needs to be improved. Sorry guys.
If the Spare Room were in my house, I'd soon enough begin to use it as my main living, kitchen and dining room. In fact, my only criticism is the name itself. Nothing about this restaurant is 'spare', everything about it is 'main'. From genuine service to incredible pizza, you'll be begging the team to move into your home toot suite!
