The rooms were clean and spacious enough if you just want to sleep and play some cards in your room. Good prices, good cheap breakfast. Cozy, informal and great music. Location is just outside the more busy tourist-y areas, which is perfect. Wi-fi: Free WiFi, fast enough to watch some late night YouTube or netflix
A very nice place!!! Room is spacious, nice and clean bed, bathroom and shower place. Breakfast is cheap and filling. Staff is super duper nice! They even have lockers with code to keep your stuff after checking out. Kitchen and meeting rooms are nice for a chat with other visitors.
Great hostel to stay in Bruges, nice social common area. Dorms are spacious, lockers for bags are excellent. Shower had good pressure. Room was a little too warm for me. Highly recommend to stay here, handy location a very short walk to the main square.
Nice hostel, feel welcomed. Room is spacious, location is good. Kitchen is nice and tidy. The decorations and atmosphere is youthful and vibely. Quite enjoy the place. Toilet and shower is tidy.Rooms: 4/5
Interesting hostel. First time I come to a hostel with just some minutes before check-in starts and I am told I need to wait until check-in opens. Literally a line of people line up at the hall waiting for check-in to start. Staff was very obvious on the precise start of it. Rule are important, I get it, but on a very rainy day and with only 15 minutes before check-in, that didn’t make much sense.
I had an absolutely fantastic time staying here with two friends. We splurged on a room with an en-suite which was still super cheap. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean and very cozy. Even days before we arrived our queries were always answered very quickly and clearly in a friendly manner. While we checked out several places in Bruges, the bar downstairs ended up being our favourite spot to hang out. Great music and a great vibe.
Stayed here for one night whilst in Bruges. Bar downstairs had a really nice atmosphere to it and staff seemed really friendly and welcoming. Was in a mixed 4 bed dorm, room was huge and spacious but bathroom was very basic. Nice views onto the streets behind the hostel. Decided to have a drink downstairs in the bar as it seemed very welcoming and barman gave me a good recommendation for a beer to try as I’m not a huge fan but had to try some kind of beer in Belgium! Only issue with the bar is that it’s also used by locals, which resorted in a very drunk guy coming over to me and wouldn’t leave me alone all evening. I was fine with it to begin with but as time went on he got a bit much but thankfully staff clocked it and managed to get him to leave me alone. Thankfully I was fine with it and can hold my own and nothing really happened but it’s concerning for a hostel with solo travellers visiting regularly if the bar is going to be open to outsiders? But a huge thank you to the staff members who helped me out!
This establishment acts dishonestly with the guests. I cancelled my reservation before I arrived at the hostel and was still charged. I received an e-mail confirming the cancellation and at no time was I warned that I would have to pay anyway. They simply don't want to give me my money back. Attention, this is not a reliable establishment.
I haven't stayed in any of the rooms as I am a local, but it's a bustling bar with usually a more alternative crowd. The prices are very good too. From time to time there's kareoke, life music or a board game event going on. This is a hostel I would like to stay in if I wanted to stay in Bruges for a holiday. Meeting locals and other internationals where you are staying can be a very enriching experience.
At the age of 56 this was my first stay in a hostel. I have no idea about hotels in general, but I iked this place a lot. It was very clean, the desk staff was helpful, the 5 Euro breakfast was very good. There was even a fan in the room which is more than I can say for the room I have tonight, which cost 3 times more. I'd stay there again.
