The Signal Box Riverside Accommodation

The Signal Box has been beautifully renovated with attention to detail and great taste. It's in a stunning riverside setting just north of Whanganui. There are chickens, ducks, cows, fruit trees and kind owners. The 180 degree is very restful. We'll certainly be back.

Exceptional self-catering - a single "box" with panoramic view of fields and river. Immaculate, furnished to a very high standard. Private quiet and warm. NB wifi but no tv, stairs up to verandah.

Absolutely idyllic setting, wonderful hosts and a perfect wee house to stay in. Everything anyone could possibly need is catered for. Couldn't be more perfect. A++++++

Best place to relax and unwind

Fabulous view from the bed of the whole river and valley. The signal box is a really lovely space to be in, high ceilings and nice decor. I really liked it. In the morning Arran told us to take some fruit from the trees and the oranges were perfect. There is a cycle path to the sea right outside so you could have a very nice time here for a week end here
