Reception staff weren't particularly friendly. Parking is an extra cost and as not covered or secure isn't worth it. Found greasy used pizza and wedges boxes in cupboard from previous clients stay. Cheap and nasty can opener didn't work. TV would be around 10 years old and not a Smart TV, casting function didn't work and no SKY so limited channels to watch.nnAll in all, I expected more from what is supposed to be 5-star accommodation.
So first of all the positives. The rooms are great and the staff are really friendly . Now the not so good, check ins are quite late, breakfast is way overpriced for what you get. My room iron ruined a business shirt with its first touch.
Great rooms, very spacious. The restaurant food is delicious it's a bit pricey though. I was impressed with the continental breakfast too. It had pancakes, waffles, cerials, fruit, toast including gluten free toast and pasties. Would definitely stay again.
Rooms were very nicely appointed and perfect for families with the ability to cook in the suite room. Adjoining room perfect for older kids to have space but be with parents. The rest downstairs had wonderful food and ability to charge back. Excellent central location. Will definitely stay again.
Great experience overall - staff were lovely & helpful, rooms were gorgeous, dinner was incredible. The continental breakfast was below average in my opinion but that is just one person! Everything else was fantastic.
