I absolutely love this location. The staff is above and beyond friendly, the store is always very clean. Recently they removed the frosted glass from the windows on this location and it really brightened the whole place up. It's a nice experience all around. Fairly priced compared to BC Cannabis and other stores in the area. The store has a large variety of prerolls, vapes, flower and oils. This location also sell drinks and edibles but because of the limitations set by the government I've found the drinks and edibles to be not potent enough for any serious cannabis users. The staff is quite knowledgeable and have always been willing to offer me great suggestions when asked. The location of this store is perfect, it is within walking distance of, a dollarstore snacks yum?, 3 pizza places, Subway, multiple coffee shops, multiple liquor stores and a grocery store. You can easily get everything you need for a great evening all within a block of each other. This is by far my favorite cannabis store on the island. Thank you for making it such a great experience to shop here.
Having been here a few times and had excellent and knowledgeable service from a lovely woman possibly the manager I was incredibly surprised by the complete lack of respect from the younger dark haired boy employee working last night. I entered the store, followed shortly by my partner and another couple, and the employee in question beelined towards me and asked for ID. Not intending to buy anything, but realizing that I had forgotten my wallet, I attempted to let him know that I wasn't buying anything, I just wanted to double check the name of a product I had seen from an earlier visit, recommend by the other lady. He responded curtly with a smile that I "can't be in here". While I was clearly older than the employee, I understand, BC has regulations and businesses should follow that, but he insisted that I "need to leave" without saying much else, being quite rude about it. As I turned around to leave, he immediately turned away and ignored my partner who was walking towards him and had his wallet on him, and instead warmly greeted the couple similar age to me and did not ask them for ID. Previous experiences at this location aside, I expect even the bare minimum for customer service. Even a simple "unfortunately, I can't serve you without ID as per BC cannabis licensing regulations" would have sufficed, but I felt as though I was being mocked and unceremoniously thrown out of the store. This interaction is enough for me to never want to come back, and Seaside has just lost my business.
There are plenty of better options in the area and I'd explore them before this locationa couple in Sidney are amazing. I found the young male working the night I came in to have poor customer service skills and a genuinely poor attitude. All cannabis stores have similar prices so customer service is where you can set yourself apart... Buds Cannabis and Truth+Alibi in sidney have phenomenal Staff and their recommendations have been nearly perfect everytime.
Selection was poor and service was a hassle. I won't be back.
Loved the experience here! Very knowledgeable. So friendly. The shop is so beautiful with all the wood and their shop pup is the sweetest girl! Would definitely recommend a stop in here!
Terrible service, didn't even give me what I asked for
Easy paced, No Rushing. This larger retail space has all of your needs does not feel crowded. Things are also clearly displayed. Some strains are available to look at under glass. I don't find this a store but more like an old "compassion shop". They are friendly and helpful and always able to give suggestions.
Excellent customer service and great selection and prices. So much more welcoming than the other place in Brentwood that was miserable, several times. Good job Esprit and staff. Keep up the great customer service, that's what makes the difference
Do Not Buy from this store. I’ve worked at a cannabis store for years. They will not return products that they should accept returns for. Defective 510 carts should be returnable. The manager told me that too many people are abusing the return policy and empty carts will not be accepted. I showed her the cart pictured. Which non of the product was able to be used as it was pouring out the tip. It emptied out in 5 minutes flat. She said she was the manager. I asked when her boss would be in. Then she said she was the boss. I asked if she owned the store she said no. I then proceeded to ask when the owner would be in so I could talk to them and she just shook her head. Poor customer service, and don’t smoke before work because the end of that conversation gave me a headache. Owner could make it right if they wanted.
Great, locally run operation. Really knowledgeable and helpful, chill staff. Great selection. Happy to get my CBD oil so close to home, in such a well designed store.
